WHO’S BEHIND GLOBAL SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING?
Benjamin Kepner graduated 2011 from the University of Georgia in Marketing and International Business. In 2011, he started blogging about events he attended to connect with digital marketing leaders. He tenaciously spent 16 years studying Spanish and another 3 years in Mandarin Chinese. He was challenged in a number of independent contractor roles proving to people his expertise in social media marketing, blogging, and video. However, he knew in order to become truly global from his trilingual experience at UGA, he needed to live abroad. In 2013, he moved to Spain to obtain fluency in Spanish and has internationally traveled to the United Kingdom, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia thereafter. He’s now summiting 14ers in Colorado continuing to help entrepreneurs climb mountains online worldwide. In 2018, he was accepted as one of 2,000 Google for Education Certified Trainers to transform education globally.
Jonathan Shuster is a 5th-year student at the University of Georgia with a knack for sales and discovering new places. His college experience has been a roller coaster; He began in the tundra of the University of Wisconsin, then moved back to the south to Tulane University, and now lives in the beautiful Athens, Georgia to finish his journey with a marketing degree. He always takes on unique challenges, so in between New Orleans and Athens he set off for New Zealand to experience 4 months of living and working on a vineyard and winery – and of course, traveled the surreal country on days off. When he isn’t studying, you can find him in a tent up in the Smoky Mountains or front row at a music festival. He lives his life trying to surround himself with good people, great vibes, and beautiful places. His love for photography and traveling inspired 7 companies to sponsor this past May’s 3-week road trip that involved exploring Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Canada, Washington, and Oregon. He’s excited to further his passion for sales and marketing with Global Social Media Marketing and Benjamin. He ultimately plans on working within the plant-based meat industry as his love for the environment is highlighted by his activism towards a vegan diet.
