Qualified candidates will have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field; A minimum of five years’ experience in international marketing, including marketing concepts, pricing strategies, consumer research, branding, advertising methods, media purchasing practices and pre and post-marketing analysis; The ability to analytically/statistically evaluate print, broadcast, digital, LSM marketing effectiveness, overall sales and competitive trends; The ability to plan, organize and implement complex initiatives in multiple countries, cultures and distribution channels; Experience with consumer research and insights with specific emphasis on market trend analysis, menu development and retail competitive analysis; Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence others; Excellent decision-making, planning and problem solving skills.  Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure of deadlines; Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word and the ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally

A Director of International Marketing designs, coordinate and direct all International Marketing initiatives for the development and growth of Church’s Chicken internationally, specifically, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East / Black Sea Basin. Serve as a catalyst for growth with responsibility for developing and implementing marketing programs that will accelerate business growth, enable new sales, and grow market positioning through increased focus on guest marketing leadership, while continuously exploring innovative and compelling market positioning that will competitively differentiate and increase new sales and guest retention.

Work with RFD’s, RFM’s and Regional Marketing managers to analyze and forecast local sales information. Information to include transactions, product mix, LTO’s, comparable/total sales and new store performance. The analysis extends to the annual global sales planning process. Administer International Ad Fund for the maximum benefit of individual franchisees and the entire international system. Design menu boards for all countries in which it operates. Design process to include: managing third party designers, competitive assessment, menu mix assessment, food photography, profit maximization. Create marketing plans for entry into new countries to include competitive assessment, brand positioning, grand opening, consumer research, and first-year marketing plan.
Develop annual marketing calendars for each country in conjunction with Franchisees and Regional marketing managers (LTO’s, local store marketing, media planning, promotions, merchandising/POP, public relations). Maintain relationship with Domestic marketing team to ensure brand consistency and leveraging of domestic programs where applicable.
Coordinate efforts of International Go To Market Team to ensure new products are being introduced in key markets in a process-oriented manner.
Maximize the value of the website(s) and social media to generate sales.
Ensure all marketing communication vehicles create a consistent global brand image for Church’s and Texas Chicken.
Responsible for providing marketing direction and support to brand RFD’s and RFM’s and international franchisees in the areas of strategic marketing planning, brand building, and brand awareness and value proposition.
Assist with training and providing direction to all Regional Marketing Managers in conjunction with the RFD’s.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 10 years of marketing experience, Minimum of 3 to 5 years of international marketing experience Position Qualifications/Functional Skills:

Becoming a Director of International Marketing is all about strong interpersonal skills and can effectively interact with all levels within the organization.  You need to have the leadership Ability to facilitate meetings with strong presentation skills and be an innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.  Your strong written and verbal communication skills give you the ability to produce internal documents, presentations, training sessions, collateral materials, and field communications. Strong organizational and time management skills are crucial for your project management skills. You must display the ability to motivate and mentor others.  Able to assign and supervise teamwork based on priorities.  You must have the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks/projects with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.  This demonstrates the ability to influence the necessary groups. Many Director of International Marketers is able to speak 5 Foreign languages. Be an excellent written communicator, with high standards for demanding evidence while maintaining concision. Prize good design. We’re looking for someone to make everything we put out in the world look simple, clean, elegant, and user-friendly, and. Know the difference between a comma and a semi-colon, know what the Harvard or Oxford comma is and have a position on whether or not to use it, and be meticulous about producing written documents free of grammatical mistakes. Have marketing events in some form or another. Ideally, you will have experience: Writing professionally, whether as a grant writer, blogger, reporter, or something else. Producing beautifully designed communications and editing skills.
