- Our current Triggers:
- Onboarding survey Submit email (sends email to BK, Kyle, Farren when an onboarding survey has been submitted along with the information from the survey.
- Solar Funnel Automations (send an email to BK when a solar form has been submitted and automatically sends the lead the solar case study)
- Opened Specific Email Campaigns (these triggers were used to add a tag to individuals who had opened or clicked on an email/link so that we could segment them. They were used for the Webinar Case Study email blast and the Marketing Course email blast). These triggers can be copied and used for other email blasts by replacing the email in the configuration with a new one.
- Open For All Emails (Adds a tag “opened email’ to anyone who has opened a global email)
- Unsubscribe Link (sets contact to DonotDisturb once they click the unsubscribe link on an email)
- GHL Form Test (test trigger using zapier for when a gsmm consultation is submitted – not active)
- Test (Nothing is currently active here, but it is a location where you can test triggers, and once they are complete you can make a duplicate of them)
- All other triggers (#1- #8) were automatically created by GHL when the Global account was made.
- Important note: When using triggers to automatically send you answers for Forms/ Surveys, it is required to manually add custom values that correspond to the survey questions in the trigger email. (you do this by selecting custom fields, and scrolling down to either survey or Form)
- When you create a funnel or website (for Global or for a client), there is an option to “go to template library” which will allow you to choose a template for a certain industry (ie. solar, agency, real estate, restaurant etc.) This makes it much easier than starting from scratch.

- Trigger Links – allows a trigger to occur when a link is clicked. We currently have a trigger link used as an unsubscribe link.
